Sean J. Kennedy is a professional drummer and percussionist whose performance career spans major concert halls, jazz festivals, touring productions, and orchestral engagements. Known for stylistic versatility, musical sensitivity, and professionalism, he performs across jazz, commercial music, classical, and contemporary settings.
He has appeared on stages including Carnegie Hall and Radio City Music Hall and performs nationally with the Gardyn Jazz Orchestra and the Doc Severinsen Tribute Band, bringing precision, energy, and ensemble awareness to large-scale productions. His work includes big band, symphonic collaborations, studio sessions, and featured guest performances.
Equally at home behind the drum set or in the percussion section, Sean approaches performance as both craft and conversation — grounded in deep listening, rhythmic authority, and respect for the ensemble.
