Music lovers are invited to join vocalist Keith Spencer for a special concert performance of Brothers on Broadway: A Celebration of the African American Leading Men of Broadway on Sunday, October 4, at 4:00 p.m. as part of the Music at Abington series at Abington Presbyterian Church. This program celebrates the extraordinary Black performers who shaped the Broadway stage and broke barriers, honoring the music and legacies of legends such as Paul Robeson, Cab Calloway, Sammy Davis Jr., Ben Vereen, Gregory Hines, Brian Stokes Mitchell, and Norm Lewis. Through engaging songs and stories, Keith will be joined by a stellar group of musicians, including music director and keyboardist Peter Hilliard, bassist Mike DiFebbo, guitarist Steve Kleiman, and drummer Sean J. Kennedy. Admission is by freewill donation, offering audiences an inspiring afternoon of great music, rich history, and unforgettable Broadway moments.
